Dear Southmoor Families,
Just a quick reminder that CMAS testing starts on April 5th.
You can support your child by making sure he/she gets enough sleep and has a healthy breakfast.
In addition, it is important that students arrive to school on time and are at school all day.
The testing schedule can be found on the website.

ARC Buck-A-Bag Fundraiser
Spring has sprung and what better time to get rid of those too small coats, boots and maybe even clothing from last summer!
Bring them to Southmoor during TWO weeks, April 10-21. Every bag you bring earns Southmoor $1.
--We are currently searching to borrow a large covered unit to store the bags near the dumpsters on
the west side of the school for those two weeks. Please email Karen Long, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Also, if you are looking to take on this easy fundraiser next year, please let Karen or any PTO member know.

raising more grounded, self-aware teens and creating stronger family connections in the midst of digital distractions.
Whether as a follow up to Screenagers or for your own edification, please join us for a special night focusing on:
・ Science-based evidence on the actual impacts of excessive screen use on the development of your child
・ Specific strategies and resources to manage screen use in a way that empowers your kids and eliminates fighting and power-struggles
・ How to raise more grounded and self-aware children amidst the distractions of screens and the negative influences of pop-culture
・ How to create deeper and stronger connection with your children as a result of working towards more balanced screen management
・ How to show up more effectively, supportively and lovingly as a parent in the midst of the issues and concerns you will work though.
Hope to see you there! Thank you!
