Wednesday, February 10th 6:30-8PM Come celebrate our students' diverse heritages, with displays, crafts, food and entertainment. It is a grand celebration that you won't want to miss! This event is FREE, however we will be selling copies of the first ever Southmoor Multicultural Cookbook - an amazing compilation of recipes that were collected from families at last year's Multicultural Night. Cookbooks will be selling 1 for $12 or 2 for $20. This month's Dine Out for Southmoor will be at Qdoba.  Here are the details: Date: Tuesday, February 16th Time: 5-9pm Location:  7155 E Hampden Ave., Denver, CO 80224     We encourage families, friends and relatives to support Southmoor Elementary with a tax deductible donation.  Besides businesses, we encourage you to ask your family or friends if they would like to sponsor your student for the auction.  Sponsors and the student are recognized in the Live Auction program.  Friends and Family Sponsorship forms are found outside the school office or on the auction website:  http://southmoorauction.weebly.com/ We are still in need of several volunteers to help with organized solicitation of businesses for auction donations or sponsorships.  We will provide you with a short list of business to contact.  Please sign-up via the SignUpGenius if you can help. http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e084dacaa2ba13-southmoor For questions, please contact one of the auction co-chairs: Inez Smith – 303-877-2049 – lersmi@comcast.net Emily Smith – 303-859-3968 – emilyseligson@gmail.com Egg Cartons Needed! The Garden Committee is in need of cardboard egg cartons.  They need 3 dozen more by next Wednesday - February 10th.  Please drop them off in the office. Box Tops Competition!!! Did you know the Classroom Box Top Contest lasts until the end of February?!?  That means keep sending your Box Tops with your student to their classroom.  You can send them in one at a time, in a bunch or tape them on to the Box Top sheet.  Anything works just get those box tops in to your teachers. Each one is worth 10¢ to our school.
