Parents/Guardians there is no adult supervision before 8:30AM. Please do not drop off your students before that time.
If you would like to wait with them until 8:30 you are more than welcomed to.
Also, a friendly reminder that students are NOT allowed to have their cell phones.
This includes in the morning during recess or breakfast.
Please remind your child they must keep cell phones in their backpack at all times.
Any phones found will be given to the main office.

Friendly reminder that all students must wear appropriate clothing to school every day.
No spaghetti strap shirts and all shorts and skirts must adhere to the arm length rule.

Running Of The Moose( Field Day)
This year's field day will take place on Wednesday, May 18th with the 20th reserved in case of inclement weather.
Once again, students from Thomas Jefferson High School will help out at each station along with the fifth graders.
Let's hope for sunny & hot weather!

May 6: Staff Appreciation Week
To help end this week of appreciation for our amazing Southmoor staff, encourage your student(s)
to write a note of thanks to his/her teacher and bring a single flower to add to the classroom vase.
Each different flower will be part of a beautiful bouquet, representing the unique and diverse students that make up our school.

Bring a pen! This year's Yearbook Signing party will take place Thursday, May 19 after school in front of the school, weather pending.
If you haven't already purchased a yearbook, you may purchase one at the signing party for $20.
