Moose is Loose Carnival
Save the date: The Moose is Loose Carnival is Back! Saturday, October 7, 2-5PM.
Come enjoy a fun afternoon of games, prizes, food, raffles, and more! We need volunteers to run the event.

The planning committee is also looking for prize donations. This is a great way to clean out your junk drawers and toy bins.

Important dates are coming up if you are interested in having your child participate in the Magnet Program
Testing for the Magnet Program will be November 6th – 17th.

That's why for over 20 years the CSCUSA Passport Program has helped thousands of 5th and 6th graders ski or snowboard for free.
With no parent purchase required, CSCUSA's 5th grade Passport Program is the only ski pass that gives
your kiddos THREE (3) FREE DAYS of skiing or snowboarding at 22 of Colorado's premier mountains.
6th Grade participants receive FOUR (4) days of skiing or snowboarding at each resort for $105 if

Girls Leadership Seminar
We're still looking for girls 2nd-5th grade for the Parent/Daughter Girls Leadership Seminar, which will help deal with "girl drama".
The focus for 2nd and 3rd grade girls is on "Nine Tools For True Friendship" while 4th and 5th grade girls will focus on
"Four Steps to Getting What you Need." The 4-session series will be in Tuesday evenings in October from 5:30-7:00pm.

Southmoor Auction: Graphic Designer/Decorations
The Auction Committee is looking for a graphic designer/decorations person to help with the auction.
The role would entail designing invitations, posters, etc.

Southmoor APP Updates
We have an app update. Please go to the app store and search for Southmoor to update your app.
This update will improve messaging. Also make sure that you are updating your notification channels
by tapping notifications in the menu and then clicking on the gear icon in the upper right hand corner of the app.
Physical Wellness News
Appropriate Footwear
Please send your child to school everyday with shoes appropriate for safe and efficient
movement on the playground and in the gym. It is common for students who incur injuries to
be wearing inappropriate footwear. Sandals, crocks and boots inhibit a child's ability to
travel safely and give their best effort.
