Spring Conferences
All families will be offered to sign up for a time for a student led conference in your child's classroom. Your child will need to accompany you to this conference. Student led conferences will be held on Thursday, 2/22 before and after school. Be on the look out for the sign up pages coming shortly!
Internet Safety Presentation

Wednesday, February 7th in the Art room for an hour long talk “Raising Media
Smart Kids….”
Learn tips for managing family
media use, choosing appropriate media, filtering home internet, limiting
exposure onsocial media, and using safe
district homework sites. As a parent raising a kid in 2018 you won’t want to
miss this one!
Babysitter will be provided.
Auction Donations Needed
Speaking of the
auction...the race is on to get donations and reach our $80k goal this
year!
The annual auction is our
biggest fundraiser of the year and its success is dependent on donations.
All Southmoor families are being asked to help secure two (or more)
donations from our community.
Please help us by asking local
businesses, your employer, your friends and families for donations.
Donations can include gift cards, good, corporate matches and of
course cash! There will be an extra recess and ice cream party for the classroom that brings in
the most donations for the months of January, February and March. This is a great opportunity
to have the Southmoor Students get involved in helping us reach our
goal.

14th and we’re looking for volunteers.

Tournament
Southmoor parent and supporter Bryan Dean
and his company are hosting their 5th Annual All For One Golf
Tournament on June 9th.
Last year the tournament generated $1,000
for Southmoor with hopes of a greater donation this year! More information here.
