Welcome Back Information
Please find some important information
below
*Office hours are from 8:00 am-4:15 pm Monday-Friday
*Students can be dropped off beginning at
8:30am on the playground or for breakfast. There is no adult supervision before
8:30 am.
*School dismissal is at 3:45 pm, any
students not picked up by 3:55 pm will be sent to the main office for pick-up.
Please call the main office if you know you will be running late.
*Tech fees are to be paid to the main
office. All students except for ECE is required to pay the fee. The cost is $25.00 for the entire year. We accept cash or check with checks made
payable to Southmoor Elementary. These fees help cover technology maintenance
such as chrome book repairs.
Lock Out Drill on Wednesday
On Wednesday, DPS initiated a lock down drill at our school.
Most of the schools in our area participated in the same drill.
We received a fantastic report from DPS safety and security.
Please contact DPS safety and security if you have an questions regarding lock
down drills.

Girls on the Run
Will start the
week of September 10th. Girls on the Run inspires girls to a
lifetime of self-respect and a healthy lifestyle through an innovative program
that combines training
for a 3.1 mile run/walk race with a fun, health education lesson plan.
We will meet Monday
and Wednesday 7:45 – 8:45 AM before school. Open to all 3rd, 4th
and 5th grade girls.
