Tomorrow- Dress Up As A Famous Person Day
Student Council is raising money for the Denver Dumb Friends League!
Plan to dress as your favorite character or famous person Tomorrow Friday, March 2nd.
Your $1.50 donation will go straight to our furry friends.

3/2 FroYo Friday
Join us on Peach Street tomorrow for FroYo Friday.
Milk & Cake will be bringing three flavors and three toppings to choose from – just $4.
A delicious way to support Southmoor!

We still need those donations and have one more extra recess and ice cream party to award.

3/14: Multicultural Night
Celebrate Southmoor's vast diversity at MULTICULTURAL NIGHT on March 14 
from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. YOU CAN HELP by: creating a table or craft teaching others about your culture or favorite country; sharing a special food;or joining the fashion show. 
Sign up using the attached form and return it to school by March 2nd.

Coming Soon: Southmoor Talent Show!
Calling all 1st – 5th grade musicians, singers, dancers, rappers, comedians, actors etc – auditions for the Southmoor Talent Show are coming soon.
Sign up by April 5th for your audition on April 10th or 11th by clicking here. 
The Talent Show will be on April 30th.
We’re also looking for some adult help for two jobs: two volunteers to help organize the acts during the dress rehearsal and actual event and two volunteers to help set up/take down between acts. Interested? Contact Erica Lee at edlee@aps.k12.co.us

Yearbook Photo Deadline: March 15th
The Yearbook Committee needs pictures from 5th grade and we’re running out of time!
Please share any photos (from any grade) you may have by emailing them to  caitlingracestorey@gmail.com or download the Balfour Image Share app
and use the project number 817990 to send them directly to our yearbook site. 
Please include the teacher's name and the name of the event.

Save the date – All For One Golf Tournament
Southmoor parent and supporter Bryan Dean and his company are hosting their 5th Annual All For One Golf Tournament on June 9th.
Last year the tournament generated $1,000 for Southmoor with hopes of a greater donation this year! More information here.

Jump Rope for Heart
Donation envelopes are due.  Please turn them in as soon as possible.
It looks as though we’re having a great year of fundraising for the American Heart Association. 
I’ll have a final donation amount soon. Look for “Thank You” gifts near the beginning of April.
